New Motherboard burning on first boot
So i got an asrock 960gc-gs fx and a amd fx 6300 processor cause i really needed the upgrade from my core 2 duo, however when i connected my power supply and pressed the power button smoke were coming from the 24 pin connector, i turned the power off and removed the connector, plugged it in again then started it. No smoke, every fan running but no signal at all on my monitor, could it be because of it?

Try getting your computer to the nearest service shop so they can check it out,i cant think of any reason why would smoke appear on the boot. Maybe something got fried so better let some experienced technician check it out.
