Suitable PSU for Overclocking Build
Hey!

So I have the following build:

CPU: FX-6300
MOBO: GA-78LMT-USB3
CASE & PSU: Casecome CS14 (came with 700watt casecome psu)
GFX: R9 280
HDD: 120GB Intel 520 SSD
Fans: About 5 in total including cooler fans
CPU Cooling: Hyper 212 EVO

Ok so this is what I"m aiming for and I'm looking for a sufficient PSU to cover it:

OC the FX-6300 to 4.8GHZ - 1.52V
OC the R9 280 from 980MHZ to 1180MHZ and 5GHZ to 6.3GHZ Mem

I'm going to assume it will use a tonne more power. The issue I've tried currently is my PSU as soon as I stress test the components together the PSU makes a clicking noise and shuts off (going into some kind of 1-2 minute safety mechanism where it locks all power to my system). Eventually power is allowed back through and it boots fine. <--- This is while I overclock the system and am stress testing all components at once through the OS.

Note: During the tests Temps are pretty good with everything, cores are stable and voltage doesn't fluctuate much < 0.05 indicating a fairly stable OC as well I thought.

I have the HX-750 Corsair PSU lined up currently to purchase and replace, but I have two concerns:

1. Will it be sufficient, or is it possibly overkill even, would the HX 650 be sufficient for this OC build? Any other recommendations?
2. Will the PSU's fit in this case?

Cheers - Chris.

hx-750 is overkill for your setup..
even hx-650 stilll overkill..:)
550w quality PSU is enough to feed power to all of your components..

even at overclocked six core intel cpu, the system only consume 376 watt in full load..

and yes, any standart atx psu will fit on your case..
