Installing Windows 7 on new storage device (SSD)
Hello.
I have a 1TB HDD for mass storage and Windows right now. (95% filled up)
I recently bought an SSD (Samsung 840 EVO 250GB), and I would like to have Windows on that and a few programs like Steam which I could install later.
Basically, I want to have my HDD for Mass Storage like Games, Music, Documents etc, and my SSD for Windows and maybe a few applications if it fits.
It would really help if someone could tell me a step by step tutorial on how to do a clean Windows 7 install on the SSD, make Windows 7 boot from the SSD, and make it so I can add more programs to the SSD if I want to later.
A video would be good, but a text response will suffice.

So far I have seen multiple video on this including:

Tips would help too. :)
Thank you.

Make sure all other hard drives are disconnected when you do the install. Windows has a bad habit of populating other drives with tidbits during install, slowing down Boot times. When you finish you can reattach other storage devices safely.

I only watched a bit of the first video and it seems pretty explanatory, but here is a run through of what I do (assuming you don't have the windows cd)

-You'll need your windows7 code and a flash drive.
-Get the correct windows 7 iso file from microsofts website (home prem, prof, ult) as well as a program to make the iso readable from your usb drive. I use isotousb.
-Save your iso to the usb and make sure it is bootable. There is often a box you can check to make that work.
-After your iso is written to the usb restart the computer.
-During the load you'll want to get into your bios (by tapping delete, or F11 (or whatever key it wants)) and look for boot (or some deviation thereof. Set your SSD as the primary boot device. Save and exit.
-Now you want to get into the boot menu (again or whatever key it wants) and select your usb device.
-The usb will load up windows and might restart the computer a few times. This setup might take a bit of time to complete.
After everything is set up, windows will walk you through basic info and should be fairly set up.
