MOTHERBOARD
-Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard (Socket AM3+, Up to 16GB DDR3, USB 3.0, uATX)
RAM
-Corsair CML8GX3M2A1866C9R Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 Mhz
HDD
-WD 1 TB 3.5-inch Desktop HDD
SSD
-SanDisk SDSSDP-064G-G25 64GB Pulse SATA 6Gb/s Internal 2.5 Inch SSD
DVD DRIVE
- Samsung 24x Retail SATA DVD Writer
CPU
-AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core (3.5/4.1GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 6MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 95W, Retail Boxed)
PSU
-Cooler Master GM Series G550M Power Supply Unit
PC Case
-Zalman Z9 Plus Midi Tower Case
OS
-Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64
COOLING
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (120mm)
-Corsair Air Series 120mm PWM Quiet Edition High Static Pressure Fan
-Corsair CO-9050009-WW Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 140mm Low Noise High Airflow Fan Single Pack
Feedback is appreciated and encouraged.

Looks good, only thing I don't know about is the PSU (correct me). I normally use something like a 600w PSU but I don't know the pull from AMD architecture. What is the price of the total system? Looks great and should run everything fine. The total price is £849.78.
In dollars that's $1410.59.

It will be very good for gaming, but I wouldn't call it a 'budget' build
If you are open to change, the Core i5-4690K would crush the FX 6300.
it also crushes it in price
Value?
Not really its $140 more and even though it may perform better, there is no need to spend the extra money for a processor that wont make a huge difference
*facepalm*
Intel CPUs' cores are WAY stronger than AMD's, so even the quad-core 4690K would CRUSH any (or almost any) octo-core CPU from AMD, especially when overclocked.
Also, Intel uses the 22nm manufacturing tech, which is faster than AMD's 32nm.
yes but most people dont need it. for any sort of gaming as long as you have at least a quadcore it doesnt matter
I was thinking of upgrading the motherboard and processor later on (at least 3-6 months after the PC is built) but to start of with I am going to stick with my current setup (board and CPU) as it's not too expensive.
