So i got the corsair h100i, intalled everything fine, usb plugged, fans plugged. Now there is one problem, im running windows 8.1, and my corsair link version is 2.7.5339. Still in the software i cant control my fans speed or pump, i cant even see them.
What should i do? My bios is updated and i have windows 8.1 updates, i saw that h100i wasnt compatible with windows 8.1 some months ago, but now is still not compatible?

I did some registry trick that i saw on some forum, and re installed rhe h100i, and it actually worked the fans started spinning max speed after the installation and asked me to update firmware to 1.0.7 and i did. After that fans and pump not showing again, restarted pc, nothing again. I had to gett out of the pc im on the phone now, ill try tomorrow do a full bot now that i shutted down the pc.Ill try the unplug and plug either, and try the other header too.
Is there anything else i need to do? My bios is updated.
Im just mad cause spend 120 dollars on it and now cant even control fans and pump. Tho i was playing league of legends and my temps went from 36 ( idle) to 38 load, and fans were quiet, so the cooler is grat.
Thanks for helping ill post tomorrow at the end of the day.
Edit: i saw that you have h80i in your description. Are you using w7 or w8/8.1.
Also my mobo is asrock z77 extreme4, can it be some compatibility problems with the mobo? Thanks
I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit.
It probably isn't the motherboard.
At worst you could just do away with CL entirely, plug those fans into the various headers on the board and control it via different software.
The cooler is great, the software is pretty pants.

They are plugged on the splitter coming out of the block...Now that makes things clearer.
Alright. First of all, try making a new profile in the software. (It's a long shot, but you never know).
If not, straight from a Corsair rep on their forums FAQ thread: "Unplug the Corsair Link USB plug from your motherboard and reboot your system. Then re-attach the USB plug and reboot once more. This can force a re-detection.".
Potentially use a different USB header on your board - You never know.
Attempt to reinstall the software from scratch, erasing all profiles in the process, and/or use the 'Reset to Defaults' function.
If still nothing, perhaps a trial of Windows 7 would be advised.
My bet goes with it being the fault of Windows 8.
