GTX 760 - MSI Twin Frozr 4 vs ASUS Direct CU II vs Gigabyte Windforce 3X?
Hello tomsHardware forum, I am a new member.

I have decided that I want a GTX 760 card as I do play a lot of PC games but nothing extreme. I have had bad experiences with EVGA in the past, plus I don't like their ACX Cooler.

I hear these 3 coolers are very similar in price, performance, and cooling capabilities.

Would you tell me which is superior for cooling?
Also, which company has the best build quality?

I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.

I'd go with the Asus, their HSF design is excellent. Very cool and very quiet.

I personally like the MSI best. Loads of peeps seem to agree with me. It's also a great card for SLI so that's good for future use. Outperforms a GTX Titan in SLI :)

Personally, my top choices are always EVGA and ASUS. If you don't want to go with EVGA then the ASUS GTX 760 DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DBPKEOI is the best route to go.

The DCUII cooler is the most effective air cooler for the GTX 760 (and best looking IMO) and the ASUS custom PCB is also the best on the market for this card. It has the best VRM cooling and quality components that allow for some nice overclocking.

What was your bad experience with EVGA?

Why don't you like the ACX coolers?
The coolers on the three you listed are similar.

Personally, I like the stock blower cooler that gets heat directly out of the case like this one:

The fan type coolers depend on case cooling to get the heat out.
