Brand new to PC's and will be building my own gaming rig!
Hi guys

Basically I am aiming to build my own, and first, gaming rig this year. I have been doing lots of research but certain terms and factors that are relevant to the quality of the parts sometimes get lost on me!
My parts list is;

Case - Phanteks Enthroo Pro side window
CPU - Intel i5 4960K S1150, Haswell 'Devils Canyon'
MOBO - Asus Z97-K, S1150
GPU - 2GB EVGA GTX 770 SC ACX
CPU Cooling - Corsair Hydro Series H75
RAM - G Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2x4GB) F314900CL9D-8GBSR or
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9
Storage - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD and 500GB Seagate ST500LM021 HDD
PSU - 750W Corsair AX, Full Modular, 80 Plus Gold
OS - Windows 8.1 64Bit

All opinions and tips will be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance!! :)

Just an update I found G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866MHz Ripjaws-X at a great price so have them being delivered.

With the PSU am I safe to go to a 650W?

As I will drop the CPU cooling I want to put the extra money saved into something else but not sure which will benefit more?

Lastly is Windows 8.1 better or shall I get Windows 7??

Cheers

Also what RAM would you choose. Corsair or G Skill?

If they are both the same speeds, get the cheapest

All is great, BUT, get rid of the cpu cooler, the stock will do fine, save yourself the money and get a 780 maybe
