I am building a gaming pc and need some suggestions on some good high quality motherboards.
This is the processor i will be purchasing for the motherboard:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...
I will be useing a single GPU but would like to go SLI in the near future. The graphics card i will be useing is:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...
Case has 4 fans so will need 4 fan headers that shouldnt be a problem on a modern motherboard. I would spend 200-300 on the board itself. Prefer the motherboard to be blue and black but doesnt need to be could just be black and grey. I havent worked with anything but asus motherboards and they havent given me any trouble but i would like to see what other people think of different brand motherboards so Any suggestions, advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Oh another huge factor is i need to be able to fit a coolermaster hyper 212 EVO on the cpu without touching or interfering with anything.. Tradesman do you currently own:

If you do would you be able to give me any assurance that this aftermarket cpu cooler would fit properly? Actually if anyone has this MoBo and a large aftermarket cooler like this give me any confirmation would be amazing.

Don't know of any Asus boards that are blue/black z97 boards offhand. The majority of their Z97 boards are gold/black now, with the exception of the ROG boards which are black/red. There's the sabertooth, but that's black/brown.
Asrock is always my 2nd pick after Asus. This one is blue/black, only 3 chassis fans but you could use a splitter.
Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 - $149.99
