Xbox+pc/1 monitor: pc wakes, Xbox goes black
I'm trying to problem solve this really annoying issue, can't find anything about it on the 'net. I've got my Xbox 360 and my pc plugged into the same monitor. A couple of days ago, with no changes I'm aware of, when the pc wakes up intermittently it makes the monitor go black - - right in the middle of me playing!

Another thing that has happened with this setup, is if I switch to the other channel on the monitor, the pc one, while I'm playing on the Xbox, if I don't wake the pc up first, it will reboot my 360! <<That one has been happening since I set up, a couple years ago. Horribly annoying and inconvenient.

Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated ;D

Edit: it goes black for a couple seconds than is back on again and working like normal.

Warranty is expired. I just keep thinking there's got to be a setting somewhere...

Obviously the creators of your display intended on allowing the user to switch between different devices but the model you have must be faulty. Do you have a warranty on the monitor?

I don't understand: why is there a switch on the monitor if not to switch back and forth between two devices?

I would advise keeping one system unplugged so there is no interference between your Xbox 360 and PC. Also, you could purchase another display for either system so they no longer have to share the same monitor.
