1440/1080p Mixed Eyefinity?
I want to be able to Eyefinity and play on a sinlge 1440p monitor.
Could I have a 27" 1440p in the center and 2 24" 1080p's on the sides and play in 1080p with AMD's new Mixed Eyefinity feature? Like this?

Would I be able to have the 1440p monitor cut down to match the pixel height of the 2 24" 1080p monitors so I'm playing in actual 1080p, with a black box filling the top area of the 27" 1440p monitor like the above image shows?

Also, How could I connect this to my R9 290 without any issues?
I want 2 x 24" 1080p, 1x 1440p in center, and 1x 39" 1080p TV mounted above the others that I won't game on.

Would I be able to connect the 2x 1080p's on the sides DVI-D, the 1080p TV with HDMI, and then run the center 1440p DVI-DP active display adaptor, or would that not work?
• Would I get what people call "Eyefinity Screen Tearing" because of the Display Port?

• Would the Active Display Port support the full 1440p screen, or would it force it to 1080p?

• Could I run DVI,DVI,HDMI on the eyefinity monitors (r9 290 doesn't REQUIRE a display port), and then run HDMI --> Active Display Port or would that have issues with an HDTV? I want to take the Display Port out of the Eyefinity equation since the only Display port adaptors that support 1440p are like $110... and this way I could stop the Display Port Screen tearing issue I think?

Anyone with Experience with this please help :/
Don't wanna buy a ton of stuff and trial and error this out myself...

It seems using most Display port adaptors won't support 1440p... Could I connect my TV via Display Port or would that mess up my monitors every time I decide to turn the TV off?
