Should I upgrade my power supply?
Hi guys!

I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU to AMD R9 280x (I currently use NVidia GTX460 1GB);
I'm not sure thought if I need to upgrade my power supply as well?
I use HEC WIN+ 600W.

My full specs:
Core i7 2600K
4X2GB Kingston
1SSD + 2HDD
ASRock P67 Extreme4

Thank you!

We need to be sure it can deliver at least 40A on the 12v rail, as terroralpha said. Just because it says 600W it doesn't mean it'll work. It's also a dodgy brand, if I were you I'd get an XFX 650W PSU.

no, you don't need a 750W PSU. the >required<wattage is actually 500 watts, but 600W is recommended for overclocking. with a 750W PSU you can do a pair of 280X in crossfire.

I googled and with the first solution I got that answer but I thought it didn't sound right so after posting I searched again. I found it to be 500 absolute minimum and 600 recommended. Sorry about that!

can you post a picture of the specs on the sticker on the side of the PSU? i can't find the specs for this model on an english site.

if you can't post a picture, just make sure that this PSU can deliver more than 40 Amperes on the +12V rail. if it can do 40A than you should be in good shape.

600w is enough for almost any single GPU. You won't run into a problem unless you're overclocking really high or you're going SLI.
