HD6870 No DVI signal
When I plug-in Monitor->DVI-D cable-> HD6870 the monitor is black and shows no signal. But when I plug in Monitor -> VGA -> VGA to DVI adapter-> HD6870 it works just fine, but doesn't have good image quality.
I have tried different DVI cables into both ports, resetting BIOS, reinstalling graphics card drivers, changing graphics card slots, butnothing seems to work. The monitor with a different PC worked fine.

Specs:
Radeon HD 6870 CoolStream Edition
AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-Core
LG W2343T monitor
Gigabyte Ga-Ma790x-Ds4
Windows 7 Pro

Depending on your monitor, you might need to force DVI input on your monitor.. Is there a setting for this on your monitor?

Yes, there is a source selection button Analog/DVI and I've tried lots of variations between the graphics cards and monitors ports. It's as if the cards dvi ports are disabled because whenever i plug in the vga cable with the adaptor into the card i can hear the "connected hardware" sound, but when I plug in the DVI it doesn't make no sound. The catalyst center only shows the VGA connection, when I plugged two monitors.
