PSU for rig upgrade?
Here are my specs:

MSI 970A-G43 Mobo
AMD FX 6300 @ 3.76
32 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Superclocked
1.5 TB Western Digital HDD
4x 120mm fans
Coolermaster EVO 212 Cpu Cooler
EVGA 600 B
Coolermaster HAF XB EVO Case

So I'm getting the following parts but i'm starting to think that maybe my PSU won't be able to handle all of this.

120 GB Kingston SSDNow v300
AMD FX 8350 Black Edition
Corsair H50 Quiet Edition Water Cooler
another GTX 660 (for SLI)

So after seeing what I have, do you think that I'm going to need a bigger juice box for all this juice?? Or just a better one? Or am I good?

So after all of the items are purchased your rig should be a
FX-6300
GTX 660 SLI
EVGA 750b2
Gigabyte 990fx-ud3
120gb ssd
32gb of ram

Not bad :)  Enjoy.

I was told that my fx 6300 would bottleneck two 660's in SLI

There should be bottleneck on the cards. The fx6300 is rather powerful even when you OC the little guy.

So with everything that we've discussed (not getting the 8350 or H50) and getting the mobo and the second 660 am I going to see noticable gains or is this all just and exercise in futility haha?

There should be no bottleneck on the cards. The fx6300 is rather powerful even when you OC the little guy.

If there ever is a bottleneck it should be rather small and you will still get rocking performance compared to the single gtx 660. To help if there ever is a bottleneck you could oc the cpu to 4ghz easily, more than likely on the stock voltage, there are many many oc videos on the web on how to do that.

Ok I'm going to get the 990fx, and just wait on the GPU. Although it seems kinda silly to buy a new mobo for sli when i don't have a second card haha

Gotta do what you gotta do! I hope everything goes smoothly in your upgrades. I hate to be the bearer of bad news on your old motherboard, but better you know vs. buying a new card and have it not work. :D

Glad I could help, if you need anything more you can always post back on this thread or create a new thread and somebody or myself will be glad to help you!
