Moved Homes now pc turns on then off instantly
Pretty much the tittle, my best friend moved recently and now his computer powers up and then back down without loading windows or anything else. I told his wife I would try to help them figure out the problem, and this is me doing that. ;p Because honestly I am unsure where to start.

After work tommorrow I will be heading over to there home to try to figure what is wrong. What are the most common causes of this type of issue and where do I start looking ?

Pc is smaller than home you're correct.. But moving a pc to another room isn't hard at all. Let us know, I'll be back on here in the morning. Or PM me for my email address and I can assist then as well.

I have not actually seen what it does when powered up but it was described to me as turns on and right back off with nothing being displayed at all. I will know more tomorrow but I was kinda wanting some direction for when I pull that bad boy apart tomorrow.

Hmm.. Have you thought of this for instance?
New home may = new electrical issues. Try a totally different outlet in the house first. Start small.

Where in the start up does it fail? Are you able to go into the bios or anything? What is the Operating system, make/model.
