Are these parts compatible?
I am interested in building a gaming PC and am interested in these parts. i would like to know if they are compatible with each other and that they don't restrict any performance. thank you

Getting an aftermarket cooler is optional. if you are not over clocking, essentially its not needed. However I prefer to put one on anyway, it keeps things a little cooler (especially in the FX8350 which runs hot) and a lot quieter then a stock cooler.

my recommendation would be for a Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO or if you DO plan to overclock, you can try a Noctua NH-D14. you will want to check to see if you have space in your case, you will need about 16cm from the motherboard to your side panel in order to fit the 212EVO and about 16.5cm clearance if you are using the Noctua unit.
