Use the integrated graphics for gaming, it will more than double your performance compared to the Geforce 210. Then later buy a graphics card when you have some more cash. Buying this way gets you the most performance over all.

All you need to do is pick operating system and a case. I left those blank encase you wanted Windows 7 or Windows 8, and the case I left blank because you will want to get one you like the looks of.

Assuming you're in the US, here's one possible build. Closer to $600, remove the SSD, closer to $700 leave in the SSD or get a better graphics card.

Edit - Sorry. I forgot the Optical Drive. Also, anything you could salvage from your old system (hard drive/optical drive) would save some cash.

You would be better to upgrade to a new system. A modern system with good performance is typically has a 4-thread CPU and 8GB RAM (4GB is okay, but 8GB is a good improvement). GPU performance for a modern CPU from Intel and many of AMD's offerings would give you better graphics performance than that card also, so if you are tight on money its best to buy a new system and just use integrated graphics for now from Intel.

Depending on what motherboard you have, you could probably upgrade the processor to a quad-core, upgrade the graphics card (and likely power supply), and almost certainly upgrade your RAM... essentially purchasing an entirely new computer. So no. I do not think you should upgrade it.

I requested because I wasn't sure if that was the current specs or if that's what the OP was looking to upgrade to.

Good point. Yea if he is looking to upgrade to that it wouldn't be very good, especially not with that ancient Geforce 2.
