Hi guy's I need help. I have a GTX 780 and am running 3 monitor surround. I added a 4th monitor as a desktop monitor so I can see my apps and such while gaming. I run my games in windowed full screen mode @ 6020x1080.
The problem however is this. When I click onto the forth monitor, my game that was spanning three screens, reduces down to the far left screen, and stays at the 6020x1080 resolution. My task bar also moves the left screen and now spans all 3 monitors. If I close the game and reopen, it goes right back to spanning the displays.
Is there a setting that will prevent this, or am I just stuck looking at the 4th monitor rather than using it?
Thanks!

Ohhh I should have read better ^^' Are you referring to regular full screen windowed mode or borderless windowed full screen mode? I am running in FULL SCREEN WINDOWED mode. I guess I can try bordless and see if the problem persists. I know the card is capable of 4 screen with 3 screen surround, and I am sure it's a setting, but it's frustrating as all hell. I am going to try and contact Nvidia and see if they have an answer as well.

While I game on one monitor and when I shift click and open up the steam in game overlay, I'm usually able to drag my mouse to the second monitor. But if I click or interact with anything on the second monitor, it usually alt tabs me out automatically. Pretty sure that's the reason why they made the in game overlay but it does get kind of annoying when I'm watching a video and playing a game at the same time and when I want to change the volume of the video or something I always get alt tabbed out T__T. I don't know of a way to fix it as I presume it's just how games are.
If you're playing in fullscreen rather than windowed mode, yes it will absolutely do that.
I am referring to a surround setup and windowed mode gaming however, so your post doesn't really help, but I do appreciate the thought. Thank you.
