SLI GTX 670 or 970/980
I'm currently using a Gigabyte Gtx 670 on a 1440p monitor. My plan was to upgrade to a 970/980 when they're formally released but would it be more beneficial to just pick up a used 670 for SLI?

If I do get a 970 I will technically be upgrading 2 pcs, my wife's computer is running on a 560ti so I would put my current gpu in her rig if I upgraded to a single card.

Any input is appreciated.

100% 970 or 980 if you can afford it. 970 is better than 760 SLI. 900 series is just way much better and futureproof.

980/970 also comes with 4GB of VRAM as standard. so you might want to take that into account as well since you're playing at 1440p. also that extra VRAM might come in handy for future games.

Wait for these products to be released and see the numbers first. I am not expecting any great performance leaps. The SLI will be faster, but has the inconvenience of being SLI.
