There is a chance any GPU will be faulty.
Sapphire makes the best AMD cards.
EVGA makes the best Nvidia cards.

My opinions, of course.

When you get the card, you run some stress test on it.
Try out some games on it and see if you notice any artifacts.
Run Unigine Valley/Heaven and let it loop for an hour. If you find any artifacts or if the temps starts to go over 85C, exit the application.
It's not just the R9 280X who can get artifacts, there are some GTX 770 that can artifacts. Just hope your one won't be bad.

Oh., so their a chance that i will encounter the artifacting issue about sapphire r9 280x toxic.. so thats means while im using my card in the heavy games their a chance to encounter a artifacting issue anytime..? Or how many months that i use my card to confidence my card is okey.. im so curious about the card?

There is a chance you'll get a faulty card. But it's unlikely. And if it happens, you get sent a new one. Don't worry.

If you want an unbiased view:
Both perform similar, some games GTX 770 is slightly ahead, sometime R9 280x is ahead by 1fps or so.
If both have the same cooler design, they would technically run at similar temperatures depends on settings.
They both can do ultra settings.
They both have the same lifespan.
Power consumption is slightly higher on AMD cards but not that far.

LOL of course he wants an unbiased view, I wasn't being biased.
You're right, although remember that it's not just the cooler that effects temps, it's also the way the chip is architectured. :)

Hence the word technically. Of course there are other factors such as ambient temperature, case airflow etc.. But just because one GPU is architectured that way, doesn't mean every gpu chip of that architecture run hot. It's down to how much voltage is pumped through the chip and how good the heat transfer is from the chip to the heatsink.
