SLI stopped working...help please
I have had 2 evga 780 classifieds running in sli with no issues up until about a month ago when all of a sudden my frame rates plummeted from averaging 100+ in bf4 on highest settings to just over 60 so I ran some benches and saw the same thing happening I have built a few computers that part comes easy to me its the diag that im lacking in experience in but the things ive done thus far are check my setting and in the settings it says sli disabled and no where is there an option to turn it back on both cards have power and all the lights are on and fans are running ive tried different bridges and there was a driver update and with new drivers still no sli....im thinking mobo maybe i should have supported the weight of the cards better im not sure my mobo is a asus crosshair v formula z and i have an xfx 1000 watt psu only other issues i have been haveing with my system are that my r key will occasionally double input and i had one boot hang

okay i feel dumb after all this and re-installing the drivers it still wasn't working so i started digging and i had changed my set up from spanning my three monitors to activate all three screens and that apparently disables sli so i switched it back to span and all is well although i think that the driver re-install helped to because i hadnt changed that setting until i swapped one of my three aoc screens for an asus vg248qe thanks for your help though

I can only instruct you from windows OS.

Control Panel -> Uninstall a Program (Programs)

You should see a list of programs installed on the PC. Proceed to delete all Nvidia software. Then double check your hardware to ensure that everything is plugged in. Reinstall the drivers.

okay so i have ran both cards alone and they are working great also i have ran a single card in both slots i am using and both slots perform the same and as i have already tried different bridges all thats left is drivers so what is the best way to completely remove all the drivers so that i can re install them

i will try to run the cards solo tomorrow can i also try to run one card at a time in different slots on the motherboard or is that not a good idea i mean i know the performance will be less on a slot that is 16x but i would know if i had a bad pci slot that way

Have you tried:
1) Using one card at a time, running furmark stress test
2) Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Nvidia drivers
