my graphics card shuts down imidiately after starting a game ??
hi !
i have an Hp xw9400 workstation

2.3 quadcore 2350 (2 proccessors)

4 GB Ram

GTX 460

1050w PSU

my computer shuts down imidiately after starting a game

the temperature goes to maximum 66 degrees ??

i have opened the case,,put an extra fan,,put the heat sink paste but it's not working what should i do??

Try the gpu on another computer as Cons29 said and if it does the same on the other one then you better get a new one

yes some white boxes appears on the game then a blue screen appears and it shut downs the computer !!!

try the gpu on another pc. a gtx460 is not actually what we can call young

I don't think temperature here is the problem 66 for a gpu is good, for cpu is a bit high but wouldn't have much problem. Check if the drivers are up to date. Also when you start a game does the computer show a blue screen or just shut down without warning at all?
