21:9 monitor and asus t100
Hi,

I just bought a LG 25" ultra wide monitor for my asus t100.

I have connected them together with an hdmi cable and a micro-standard hdmi adaptator.

But i can't find a resolution suitable for the screen. Windows only suggest 1920x1080 and the monitor needs a 2560x1080 resolution.

Any idea???

I've tried to update my drivers by the asus software and... nothing... (no update and no changing of course).

There's no solution ?
It's a limitation of the video controller or is it software ?

Check for display driver updates first and foremost. Also be sure to install all the software that came with the LG display, these ultra wide monitors will sometimes have extra drivers to enable the wider resolutions.

If these options fail, it's possible the laptop does not support 21:9 resolutions at all, considering it's not exactly a graphical powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination.
