Should I upgrade from a gtx 780 sc acx to the new 980
I will only be doing 1080p@60fps gaming

I agree with the other posters here, stick with the 780; it's a great card and will run anything out there.

780 is only about 7% weaker then a 970 and the 970 is still plenty strong of a card. I would not upgrade and I don't see why you even need to get a second one for even another year or two. Wait for the 1080 or whatever it would be called.

Yeah I agree, I would add a second 780 before flat out replacing it.

I would say no. The 780 is a beast. It should be able to get 60fps at 1080p with ultra settings on any game out there I would think. Do you have any problems with any games at the moment?

No I dont think it's worth it...the 780 is going to be good for gaming for quite a while. The 980 is better but its not worth making that jump.
