i use more than a pea and I spread it out before putting the heat sink on.

did you try resetting the cmos? perhaps the voltages are a little high for some reason.

did you put any thermal paste on it before you installed it?

and is the fan hooked to the cpu header on the board?

the fans.......... the front ones should be blowing (sucking) air in, the rear fans and the cpu fan should be blowing towards the back and out of the case.

this is the one I bought and have on it

but my friend said it would be better , since my case has 3 fan, 1 rear, 2 front. to take the rear fan off and put it on the heat sink and have a push pull config.. the push fan is about 6 inches away from the rear fan hole... bad idea?

pull the heat sink off the processor. clean up the old paste and reapply some new paste. properly reinstall the heat sink and fan. it's way too hot.

next thing i would suggest is a new and better heat sink and fan. maybe a 212 evo by coolermaster..??

Yes win update. refresh rate says, use hardware default settings. . not blurry or shutter, but I get little red dots / speckle in the darker places, like in videos I ran prime , got to 105c after 10 mins. seems to idle at 48-51c. browsing goes to 68-71c some times 75-80c and yes I do uninstall the driver. and it installs the standard VGA driver

is it blurry or is there stuttering? did you check the refresh rate. is the apu getting cooled properly? you installed everything from windows updates after the opsystem install?

device manager/uninstall the graphics drivers and reboot. let windows re-find it. ( display adapter/uninstall )

I fixed bus driver. the chipset driver from mothr board site, takes care of everything. AMD had updated drivers. regaurdless of driver. when the display driver is installed (HD 8570D) is when I get the black screen on start up.
and this is an asus 1080 monitor

what about the bus driver?........ did you install anything after that app found stuff?

is this monitor a tv or a monitor?...... you may need to open the CCC and find the tv and enable.......
