Glad you got it figured out. I would still get 64-bit java installed as running minecraft in 32-bit on a 64-bit OS WILL cause problems.

I believe I just figured it out from that picture.

You are running 32bit Java on a 64bit OS. This causes ALOT of issues with minecarft. uninstall java and re-download the 64-bit version.

smeezekitty suggested something about clocks being stuck in 2D mode. I play alot of minecraft and have never heard of that, but maybe it is something to look into.

any suggestions?

Its a bug in the the graphics drivers where it doesn't use 3d clocks. The clocks stay low and the performance is low.

Things you can try are installing the minecraft shader mod
and creating a profile for Minecraft in Nvidia control panel.

I have also heard of people fixing it using MSI afterburner's overclocking features.

i have no idea what that is, do you have any other suggestions or what being stuck in 2d mode means?

You might *need* to run mods to get the GPU to clock up
