GPU Replacement Help
Dear Tom's Hardware community,

Here i stand with yet another hard to answer question.

I just got a confirmation for a replacement of my R9 290 Vapor - X.

However, the firm that i will be replacing does not have any more Vapor-X (They have a Tri-X or Asus CU II O.C. tho i read on Tom's that CU ii does not cool efficiently due to pipes being designed for GTX 780)).

Now what i ask you is what is the card to get instead of the Vapor - X?

Preferably around same price.

Thank you for your help and time.

Regards,

Slyly

More than just up to date, it'll smoke any game for a couple of years and will definitely be comfortable for ultra gaming 2-4 years.

It is in pre-order state.

I will get it when it is in stock.

980 seems better (even than R9) but it is absurdly expensive (2-3 FPS for 300 bucks).

You sure that Evga 970 will keep me up2date for a few good years right?

That's not hard, get the tri x, it's a great card both performance wise and cooling wise. Or if you can put your hand on EVGA 970 then nothing like it :)
