Dear Tom's Hardware community,
Here i stand with yet another hard to answer question.
I just got a confirmation for a replacement of my R9 290 Vapor - X.
However, the firm that i will be replacing does not have any more Vapor-X (They have a Tri-X or Asus CU II O.C. tho i read on Tom's that CU ii does not cool efficiently due to pipes being designed for GTX 780)).
Now what i ask you is what is the card to get instead of the Vapor - X?
Preferably around same price.
Thank you for your help and time.
Regards,
Slyly

Don't look at what it has on paper, its on par with 290x performance wise:

Besides being much more energy efficient.

Is this the 970 you are referring to? If so, it is actually cheaper than Vapor-X. Tho it also has lower bit rate...
