Can i use a DVI to HDMI adapter for my 3rd monitor?
Hi, i am currently running a dual monitor setup and am wanting to upgrade to my 3rd, i have an AMD Radeon HD7870 and currently have both DVI spots filled, so can i use the same monitor (that cannot use hdmi cable to be plugged into it) to plug into the HDMI spot using a DVI to HDMI adapter? (I don't need sound from the monitors)
Thanks!

AMD cards only work with two monitors connected using DVI, HDMI or VGA.
Any additional monitors must be displayport.
If your 3rd monitor does not support Displayport, you will need an active displayport ot DVI adapter.
