help with my mobo "G31-M7 TE Ver. 6.7/6.8"
can someone help me with my problem.

my motherboard is G31-M7 TE Ver. 6.7/6.8 and i want to upgrade my video card. is this compatible with my mobo "NVIDIA GF9400TG DDR2 1GB"?

also what other video card are compatible with my mobo and how to determine it.

i'm confused with the "mhz"

Your system is pretty old. That is a single core CPU and I bet the power supply doesn't have much total power (350 - 400 watts). Here is a comparison of just how weak your CPU is. I think you should save your money and get a new CPU and motherboard.

Get a Pentium G3258 a good power supply, pick from the vendors in the top of the power supply tier list and you will be MUCH happier in the long run.

Your motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot. You currently have a Geforce 9400 of some kind. What graphics card you can use is going to be more determined by your budget, your CPU and your power supply. We will need more info to help you.
