To any mods out there, sorry for posting the same question twice in 30 minutes. The problem was that I noticed my questions was in a different category. So sorry about that
Hello everyone! So I was basically wondering if there's any way to Underclock my PNY GTX 760 OC to it's default speed. Since a couple of games go above temperatures that are too hot for my personal liking, I would honestly love to reset my graphics card to it's default speed. Thanks in advance!

So, OP we stuck in the same problem right now, I have recently bought GTX 970 due to stupidity
lol and I cannot change or tweak the GPU`s settings in the MSI Afterburner.
My rig is the following:
A10-7850k 4.3 Ghz (Oc`ed)
MSI GTX 970 4G
R9 2400 Mhz 8G RAM
128 ADATA SSD
Scythe CPU cooler (modified)
So, going back to the issue, I recently upgraded from my HD 7970 to GTX 970 out of stupidity I guess for HD 7970 is decent in 1080p gaming.
My AMD card (7970) is running in the recent catalyst 14.7 and as i installed the Nvidia drivers (GTX 970) I did not remove the AMD drivers for it supports my integrated GPU (R7). So I think this is the problem, but I did not verified it yet.
I will come back to you if I solved this and hopefully I can give you a reliable help.
Cheers!

Hi OP, Does your GPU comes with overclocking software? I mean like the Tri-XX for overclocking Sapphire cards and the Afterburner for overclocking the MSI cards.
You have mentioned the Precision, is this the software that comes with your GPU drivers?
If yes, firstly, you can try updating your GPU drivers and see if it detects your Card, if this doesn`t work, try to update your BIOS.
No Overclocking software included that I am aware of. I downloaded Precision X after a while I got my PC.
Drivers are fully updated. Not sure about the BIOS.

Should be like this http://gyazo.com/d717272ccd62632d23a99239736313b0 u need to restart the pc to gain the clocks alteast i needed to do it..did you do it?I've always had both Afterburner and Precision X show "+0" ever since I got my PC actually and yeah, I restarted it not too long after taking the screenshot as well.
1) Make sure to edit 'MSIAfterburner.cfg' lines:
:
[ATIADLHAL]
UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1
AND at LEAST for ME (AMD 7850M), I could only change the clocks when I was ONLY using laptop's display. If I had my HDMI monitor physically connected, MSIAfterburner didn't seem to like things. If you have switchable graphics, the program making use of the GPU (as opposed to the Intel 4000, or what ever), needs to be running BEFORE starting MSIAfterburner.

Edited the file and still nothing. As for the HDMI thing if that's the cause for something I honestly have no way of fixing that since my main and only display is HDMI.
I have mine on DVI so..
