Would an Intel Core i7 2700K bottleneck a GTX 970 4 GB?
Looking to update from my GTX 680 once the GTX 970 4 GB has a sale for under $350 in Canada (not going to buy it immediately since they're charging close to $400 now) and I am currently using a i7 2700K with the multiplier set to 4.3 ghz. I ran Passmark CPU test and it got close to 10500.

Would I need a CPU upgrade in this situation? I got the CPU when I built my machine in 2012. Or would it be fine?

It really won't. You've got 4 cores running at a high Ghz, it's a few years old but it should not be a bottleneck for your system. You can upgrade it fairly cheaply but don't worry about it, especially if you're getting a 970.
