My daughter has a s 3715 w pavilion hp slimeline, with a GeForce 615 ose n force 430 graphics card and a electrical storm mess
Graphics Card replacement for my s 3715 w pavilion hp slimeline pc. Graphics card is a GeForce 615ose nforce 430. The computer has 160 watts power supply. I just need to replace this graphics card, and i do not know which graphics card to replace it with. I pretty much beleive that it is a intergrated graphics card, because thats what the hp website says for info. and it does have a open slot in there where you could add a card, just need to know what would be an egual replacement card and how to go about hooking it up and deleting the old ones info off there, any help would be so very much appreciated. Thank you in advance Sincerely Susan

I could not find the specs on that pc, therefor have no idea what it already has. If the colors are off, it may be the monitor instead.

Please double check. I could not find an HP support page but what I did see was the GPU it was using was already on a card which can be replaced. I am not positive this info is correct though but if it is then any low profile & low power GPU would work. the best (for gaming) would be a GT730 w/64bit ddr5 (About $70) while the cheapest would be a gt210 (about $23 after rebate)

If this took a hit during a storm, its likely the motherboard was also damaged.

The motherboard is ok, its just the colors on the computer have changed dramaticly, but otherwise the computers is good, its just my daughter wants a new card because she said it does not look the same. I know the graphics card is probably on a chip, and for sure there is an extra slot there to add something, just wanting to know if the card u mentioned would be equal to the one that in there and where would plug it in in the slot area. thank you very much

With a 175 watt power supply I'm not sure if there are any discrete cards you could power. I also wouldn't trust an OEM PSU that had possibly taken electrical storm damage.
