Need help! PC for a 3d animation ( hobbyist ) - Budget $2000 including monitor

Intel/Nvidia build option 1 is more ideal.

Since you say you do not plan on overclocking, then get rid of the 4790k...and get a normal version of the CPU..unless you just chose it for the higher clock. Also, unless you plan on SLIing GPUs, then get a cheaper motherboard too.

Is there a reason why you went with 2 1TB HDDs?...because that is $100...and you can get a single 3 TB for $100 instead.


Also instead of the 780 get the 970 or 980.

And there is no need to purchase thermal paste or an aftermarket cooler because the boxed version of that CPU will come with that.
