The picture explains it perfectly I think. Personally, I don't like the airflow. The problem is that having the radiator fans set to intake you are putting all the CPU heat directly back in the case.
That means the CPU is cooler than it would be if you had the radiator fans as exhaust but everything else will run hotter including the graphics cards. Considering the liquid cooler is more than capable of cooling a CPU I think we should be more concerned about the temperature of graphics cards.
Also, if it was an Intel CPU I prefer a good air cooler like the Noctua NH-U14S. It might cool just as good and it runs quieter.
