No display from Motherboard display ports.
Hello hope someone can help me with a problem

I have a dedicated GPU that I feel is about to die out real soon due to display artifacts.
My problem arose when I decided to use my motherboard's integrated GPU before buying a new video card.

When I plugged in my monitor to the motherboards DVI and HDMI ports (haven't tried VGA though), nothing shows up on screen. The computer turns on and gets to windows (I can hear the Windows sound) but nothing shows up on screen. I'm 100% sure the problem is not with my monitor since it displays fine when connected to the dedicated GPU.

I thought the problem was because i didn't have the intel driver installed. However, when installing the intel graphics driver, I get the error "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." Im pretty sure I was trying to download the correct driver. (Windows 7-64bit, intel i5-2500k, asus z68mobo). I tried downloading the driver from Intel's website and from Asus' website and the same error occurs. Does this error occur since my monitor is connected to my dedicated GPU? If so then that brings me back to my original problem of no display when connecting to motherboard directly.
