When building new PC , is it ok to put both graphic cards in at the very beginning ?
Building my PC tonight with sli'd 970`s , was curious as to whether or not they could both be in when I ran everything for the first time. Thanks!

If your motherboard does not have a power button, you start the pc with a flat bladed screwdriver. Momentarily touch the two PWR front panel pins.

I agree with geofelt, prebuild out of the case and put a Windows build on it. If it goes wrong within the case you know its sothing your have done or have damaged something.

I would assemble the parts outside the case first .
I would test the cards individually first.
When you get sli working and all looks good, then is the time to put the parts in the case.

It is easier to debug or replace parts if they are out of the case for testing.

They should be the last thing that is installed just before you power on for the first time.
