EVGA Gtx 660Ti SC 3GB Driver has stopped working and recovered problem

How's it going guys? My name is Andrei and I'm having a problem with my GPU, hopefully one of you can help me sort this out.
The problem: When I'm playing a game that requires my GPU to work hard, my screen just turns into a solid color (mostly white but got red, green, purple as well) with a buzzing sound. Most of the times it doesn't recover back and I have to hard resset. But sometimes it just goes into a solid color and back in with a lot of noisy sounds and crash the game i was in but recovers to desktop and shows a message that says the driver has crashed but recovered.

My PC specs are:
-EVGA GTX660Ti 3GB SC
-Intel i5 4670 3.4Ghz
-2x4GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz RAM
-SuperFlower GoldenGreen HX 500W gold efficiency
-Gigabyte B85-HD3 Motherboard
-1TB Hard Drive Samsung
-120GB System Hard Drive

I had a no name PSU before of 550W and changed it to this one and still have same issues with my GPU. If I still can't do anything I might send it into warranty. What I know is that's a driver issue and my Nvidia driver is 340.52. Any help is appreaciated!

Try this:

First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Thank you soo much! I managed to get it done, in safe mode I used DDU and installed Nvidia driver version 310.90 and now it works fine. Nvidia has to really fix their drivers. Thank you again mate, I appreciate! Cheers.

Your welcome.

Thanks for answering! My question is which driver should I install, latest driver or just go back to a older driver version, I've been getting the errors since driver 322 on the way to 340. Help is appreaciated.
