I can't imagine an AMD APU having the least bit of trouble with most of the console emulators. I remember running Nesticle 15 years ago just fine on a Pentium II 333. I ran Bleem (PS1) on that PC too, but to be honest, I don't remember if I ran it before I put in a Rage 128 (though anything today would crush that too and it may not have mattered for Bleem - sorry I don't remember specifically given the length of time that has passed). We've gone far enough that most emulators are now child's play for PCs, up to PS2 (and I would think, but cannot guarantee) that you wouldn't have significant issues there.

it should do that fine. but if there is always a problem you can always buy a card for it.

APU's are not as good as the 99% of bought modern separate graphics cards, but they'll do many of the daily jobs nicely, though not gaming ultra ect.

airflow is fine as long as you have an intake and outtake fan in the appropriate areas of the case.

awesome never used a pc with an apu are the apu's any good also what type of power supply will i need for this mobo also since the nes is so small if i put in a laptop tdvd drive will the fan on the cpu heatsink cause any problems as far as heat or air flow i will be adding some fans to the back of the nes

would prefer it if the board used laptop memory to save on space but not required

this board is pretty good and has an AMD APU processor if you aren;t intending to buy a graphics card -

This board supports DDR3 Ram, so you'll need to get DDR3 ram for it to work.

Ram 4GB 1600MHz (2X2GB) sounds like enough for your needs.

so you want us to select a Motherboard/CPU combo and at least 2GB Ram? How much would your budget be?
