Can gtx 970 move 144hz monitors 1080p?
Hi guys, the question its.. Can gtx 970 move 1080p 144hz with ultra settings? In games like call of duty, bf4, grid autosport?

I jump from gtx 480 and 22 inch monitor 1050p.. I going to feel much difference?

Well, to actually answer all your questions ;-)

The benchmarks for the 970, ultra preset @ 1080p on a 144hz monitor all say no, you won't hit that refresh rate/fps. Certainly not for those games. I can say that because @ 1080p, on 60hz monitors the benchmarks for any of those games don't reach over 100 on ultra. Older games will be hit and miss.

That said, you will notice (or feel) a big difference over the 480 and 1050p (sic?)

If you're serious about gaming with that refresh rate you may want to consider getting a monitor with gsync. It will help. Also, if you're serious about gaining an edge over opponents, reducing the quality will get you that framerate and smoothness that you need.

you'll get close, but constant 144fps is really a tall order... you can probably get pretty darn close though.

The GTX 970 is faster than a GTX 780, and some have been overclocked to 780 Ti levels. So it should get you damn close.

um, if you mean 144fps constant or average at ultra then nope. Your gona want at least a GTX 870 or 780 ti.

EDIT: Typo, I mean't GTX 980 or 780 ti.
