How to position heatsink and fan
I was using the 212 evo until it broke today. While looking for a new CPU cooler, I noticed that very few would fit the way it is setup.

As you can see, there is little room for a fan next to the ram. That is where I kept the evo and it barely fit. Is that how it should be setup or should the fan be on the other side? I think my CPU was running slightly hot on idle. Maybe 40C, I don't really remember.

As long as they spinning in same direction they will help rather than fight each other.

Ok, I just wasn't sure that it made sense to have it facing another fan.

Put it on the side of the heat sink that doesn't face the RAM if you have a problem....however, when it does actually reach the RAM, low profile RAM fits under the Hyper 212 fan .... you can shift the fan up a notch also.
