Best way to connect case fans
Hi, I want to know which is the best way to connect case fan FOR me. I see everyone recommends motherboard because we can control the speeds, but I recommend connecting directly to PSU as it gives max speeds and I have the satisfaction that's the PC is running at the lowest temperature that it can be. But I am afraid the fan's axle will get loose or broken at max speed, and I want to know will it get broken or it's totally safe at max speed, because I don't care about the noise from the PC as I use headphones and even generally I don't care about the noise, I just care about temperatures.

If you dont mind the sound then it's fine. I have them hooked up to molex and they dont make THAT much noise. Sure it's audible but I never cared about silent cases. Fans are pretty cheap even CM, Corsair ones. And at max speed they will last you a lot no problem. I have them on max speed everyday for almost 2 years and they work just like they did the first day I installed them. That's a lot of milage for 10 bucks. So don't worry your fans will be just fine.

Thanks!
