I get a PC crash when testing the card. (power supply surges detected during the previous power on. asus anti power surge was triggered to protect system)

My PSU

Also the vid card makes a buzzing sound under load and stops at idle.

When i hear the strange sounds is when it will crash.

I had a GTX 770 before hand and had no issues.

Alex Kelly is right. That is a pretty shabby PSU. I recommend a model from Seasonic. They have awesome customer support and use high quality components. They have an awesome reputation.

Not a good PSU, but it sucks that you're getting coil whine! I get the same thing on my MSI 970. I'd RMA it ASAP. It's covered under warranty.
