Solved Forum question

PC shuts down I suspect it's GPU overheating
So my pc shuts down when i start a game, Grapichs card gets extreamly hot and I can't start it for some time. I've had this problem for a month now, it worked fine but now it just keeps shuting down

Specs:
Intel® Core™ i3-2100 Processor
(3M Cache, 3.10 GHz)
4GB DDR3
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Could it be the power button? I've just reliazed this. Did a few tests and I'm kinda suspecting the button you press when you turn on your pc

Like i said, remove EVERYTHING from the chassis and rebuild it, could be stress on the mobo causing a short.

I tested the RAM, changed the slots and combinations, problem persists. I guess its the mobo. If it was the cpu it wouldn't start at all

Well, disassemble the computer computer, reassemble it. Could be a short on the motherboard thanks to some tension.
