GTX 950ti worth the wait?
So Ive got around $350 to spend (Here in SA $350 buys a lot less than in the US keep in mind)

Ive been looking at the GTX 750ti as a decent card for a 1080p monitor at 'ok' settings. Now the low end 900 series should be launching sometime in October which includes the 960 and the 950. Would a good idea for me be to wait for the release of the GTX 950/960 and possibly save for one of those if its not too much over my budget or just to go ahead and get the 750ti?

The only reason I would get the 750ti would be because I have a 'low-end' 450W Zixaa PSU, which I dont really want to test the limits of and the 750ti only requires a 350W. Should I upgrade now with the 750, or wait and get a 950/960 and upgrade my PSU if needed?

I do game a hell of a lot so decent framerates at mid-high settings would be a preference to me but money is the issue.

Yes, that is what TSMC is ramping up to switch to, primary manufacturer for almost every GPU these days. AMD's 300 series is supposed to be on 20nm, along with the Nvidia's Maxwell / (Which was supposed to have already been on 20nm, but TSMC delayed it)

Toshiba has 19nm flash fabs, A lot of companies are using 20 and 22nm processes for RAM and Flash. Intel has their 14nm process kicking out ultrabook/laptop chips already, desktop Broadwell expected in Q2 2015.

GTX750 and GTX750Ti were basically proof of concept designs. GM107 is basically the 'consumer' class GPU. GM204 is the 'enthusiast' class, and GM210, either 20nm or 28nm will be the 'workstation/professional' GPU. Not sure I have heard news on what/when things like the GTX980Ti or a Titan 2 will be released, but you can bet it will be around the release of AMD's 300 series, which is towards the end of the year, but perhaps not. Usually takes a while for them to bin up chips to do dual GPU setups as well, so a GTX990 probably won't be anytime soon.

Nvidia has changed their mind a few times in the last couple of months on what features their roadmap will have. And once I pick a GPU (GTX980) I tend to stop following it too closely until I am ready for an upgrade.

20nm? seriously?
