Need help choosing an SLI bridge =/
Hi. I have this mobo http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Motherboard-Motherboards-Z87-...

and this Video card http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-Corp-780TI-GAMING/dp...

I want to order a second card for SLI but I don't have an SLI bridge.

My question is how long does the bridge need to be? I'm going to have the cards in the first and second slots. Do I need a 120MM bridge or would a shorter one work? Also will any brand work? There are not many on Newegg so I'm probably just gonna order it from Amazon. Thanks

Or find someone who bought an Asus board and is not using SLI .... they come in the box.....fan is not an issue .... instead of having the flex bridge bend out to the fan, have it bend in between the cards.

80mm is long enough for your motherboard.

Buy a cheapo off amazon. Mine is an ASUS branded one I paid $.99 on amazon used.

Those new Nvidia bridges are really nice. I still like the look of that reference cooler the best outa them all and with that bridge they would look sweet.
I just need a regular SLI bridge though, anyone know where I can buy it for under $10?

Jack that's the one I was going to buy but they wanted to charge $9 for shipping =/

yea that's why I asked because I have a fan on the side panel so I don't want the bridge getting caught in it lol :)  I just didn't know if 70 or 80 would be long enough since there is space between the cards on this mobo. My Sapphire 7950s came with Crossfire Bridges but neither my MSI mobo nor MSI 780 ti came with an SLI bridge...

Newegg only has a few, one is $15 not paying that and the others are from overseas sellers. I tried to buy one from Amazon that was $8 and they wanted even more than that for shipping I'm not paying $17 for an SLI bridge damnit!

I would NOT recommend a 120mm bridge it will be SO LONG and you will have like 4inches extra.

Get the most expensive, fastest, diamond encrusted SLI bridge on the market...

Nah all SLI bridges are the same

ANY SLI bridge works. 5 years old or brand new, they are all the same.

120mm is LONG. Like VERY long. Get a 70mm one. That will be PLENTY.
