BSOD // Nvidia Surround Help // Crashing When Playing 1920x1080 fullscreen game on surround
Currently running 2 770s in SLI, I have 5760x1080 spanned across all three monitors and an accessory display above.
The problem I am having is with the BSOD error - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA
It is caused when I run a game from my desktop out that is not a steam game & I believe what is causing this is the game tries to run in fullscreen 1920x1080 & then tries to stretch and BOOM ---> Blue Screen Of Death.
I either need a way to force these programs into 1920x1080 windowed mode (not sure if this will work)
Or
Separate my nvidia surround monitors so the game launches like a regular game on the middle monitor. The problem with this is that the monitors recognized are my accessory display above and one loooong monitor below that was converted into "one" monitor when its really 3.
I have tried everything I can think of from:
-Trying to disable sli (causes all monitors not to work)
-ALT+Enter clicking on the games to launch in windowed
-Editing the shortcut of the game to say: -w -r:1920x1080
-A bunch of other stuff I am too tired to list & that I found on google.
Most of the time I am stuck with no monitors on when i mess with nvidia surround and I have to hard power my machine & then system restore.
Is there an easy way to play my games in nvidia surround that are capable but then play my 1920x1080 games ONLY ON MY MIDDLE MONITOR using all others as accessory monitors to maybe monitor my stream, etc?
I would be forever in your debt if you could help me figure this out, this issue has plagued me for far too long.
