Which GPU should i choose?
I'm thinking of replacing my graphics card and i have a number of options, im no expert on hardware but I don't want to bottleneck because the PC is moderately old. Here are my specs:
SYSTEM:
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: GA-MA790X-DS4
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 6142MB RAM
Page File: 2507MB used, 9775MB available
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce GTX 295
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_05E0&SUBSYS_064E10DE&REV_A1
Display Memory: 3688 MB
Dedicated Memory: 873 MB
Shared Memory: 2815 MB
Power Supply Unit: 750W OCZ Technology ZT Series
PC Case: 3D Aurora 570 (Its pretty big)

Here's a list of Graphics Cards i was considering:
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRAATIR9280X3GB - ATI Radeon R9 280X 3GB
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRANVIGTX7602GA - Nvidea GeForce GTX760
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRAATIHD79703GBA - ATI Radeon TahitiXT HD7970
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRAATIXFXF79503GB... - ATI Radeon HD 7950 XFX DD 3GB
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRANVIGTX6702GB - Nvidia GeForce Kepler GTX670 2GB
https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SGRAATI79503GBA - ATI Radeon 7950 VTX 3D 3GB

Should i get one of these or save a little extra for something else?

Help would be much appreciated, also what other upgrades should i look into whenever i have the funds?

Thanks for your time.

Thanks rocky, that clears everything up for me. Any suggestions on which component i should upgrade next?

Just use pcpartpicker.com, shows the lowest price for any component.

For your needs, and budget, I would wait a little while and grab a 960. Should be released end of the month or so.

R9 270X -> GTX 760 -> HD 7950 -> GTX 670-> HD 7970 standard-> R9 280 -> R9 280X

R9 270X is 2x faster than GTX 295
R9 280X is 2.5x faster than GTX 295

Since the prices fell , i suggest you get R9 280 3GB

Newegg.com. Everybody buys from there.

Trusted and reliable.

Thanks Mac, Where would be the best place to start looking for good prices for those?

For raw performance Nvidia, but for value for money AMD, your choice, whatever your needs are going to be, go with what you need.
