Difference between specs on 560 and 970
So I'm currently using an old gtx 560 2gb and the specs I'm looking at are as follows:

Graphics clock: 810-950 mhz
Processor clock: 1620-1900 mhz
Memory clock 2002-2200 mhz

And the 970:
Base clock: 1050 mhz
Boost clock: 1178 mhz
Memory clock: 7 gbps

My question is, why are these labeled differently? I guess I don't understand the difference between graphics clock and base clock etc. Also why is the memory clock measured in gbps instead of mhz on the 970?

2 Different performance ranges... The 970 is a card which will do 2.5X+ the power of your 560. Just go and take the 970 if your looking for a high-end range GPU.

The Memory clock would be measured as 7000Mhz for the 970, base clock and memory clock don't really matter when comparing 2 different cards as it comes down to their raw performance. A 970 is hella lot faster than a 560. The processor clock is the shader clock if I'm not mistaken but I think that now Nvidia cards have the graphics clock and processor clock together = base clock.
