Corsair HX1050w or Cooler Master V850
Hello people,

I recently bought a second EVGA 780 Classified for SLI. My system is currently running a i5 4670k at 4.2 ghz plus 8 gigs of ram and 1tb hdd and an ssd. I have a Rosewill Hive 750w. I've read from many sources that i should at least have an 850w power supply for this setup. I'm scared of running my system with my current PSU cause i don't want to damage anything.

With this in mind i currently have the opportunity to purchase a Corsair HX1050 Silver Certified or a Cooler Master V850 Gold Certified for $30 more.

I'm not sure if the Cooler Master V850 is worth more. Also the Corsair HX1050 has blue in it which kind of interferes with my red/black build, but the price is excellent.

What do you recommend? Enough power with the 750w? should i go for the Corsair or for the Cooler Master?

Thank you!

!

Didn't see this at first, but imo will this be enough, again but i can't be sure. You really would need a power meter to check. If you had a 2011 or ma3+ cpu would i've said no,but with this cpu, yes. In the end just an educated guess on my part.

Cooler Master V850 is enough and a high quality power supply made by Seasonic.
