Blue screen after installing new motherboard and cpu?
This is my first time replacing a motherboard. i switched from an Amd to an Intel cpu. when i started my computer for the first time i got a blue screen. then i turned it on a second time and it took me through the startup repair process for windows. i finished the repair then rebooted and the blue screen came back. so what do i do? i've read that reinstalling windows could fix it, but my hard drive is not backed up. is there anyway to not lose data? thanks for the help!
