800W Power supply enough for SLI GTX 970 configuration?
Hello everybody, I've noticed that a lot of people are asking whether 850W will be enough for SLI, and a few people have been asking if 600 is enough for a single GTX 970. The answer to both of those is yes. However, I just want to be 100% sure that 800W is enough for SLI GTX 970 Asus Strix Model.

Thanks!:)

My GPU's(4Gb windforce ocd'd to 1250MHz) run around ~60°C and my CPU ~55°C(Oc'd to 4.3GHz using a Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler). I run my gpu's in slots 1 and 3 on my motherboard this allows for some space between them to help keep the top card cool.

That's pretty good, my CPU is also overclocked, to 4.2Ghz and runs much cooler than that. I'm sure the Asus Strix Cooler will keep it all nice and icy. :)

Yes it should be fine. I run dual 770's and my system will use 675w under full load. The GTX 970 uses less power than a 770.

Ah ok, I believe the 770 alone uses 230W and the 970 only uses 145 watts, making it about 40% more efficient. I expect it will be ok then, thanks!:)

Oh, and also, what sort of temperatures do you get with that setup? Cheers
